Community Engagement - Have Your Say

Community engagement, have your say on upcoming projects

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEANS HAVING YOUR SAY

You told us that you want to see how community views and ideas influence Council decisions. Guided by our Community Engagement Strategy, we’ll continue to listen, have conversations and report back to you.

Whether you live, work, study or play in our city, we want to have genuine discussions about what you think creates a stronger, vibrant and liveable place for everyone. By participating in Council’s decision making processes and sharing your ideas, we can reflect them in our plans and projects.

Council is committed to making sure everyone can access the information they need in a format that is right for them. If you would like information supplied in another language or format please call 02 9806 5050 or contact the Community Engagement team on haveyoursay@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au.

Have your say on our Parramatta Night Market

What kind of night market would you like to see in Parramatta? City of Parramatta Council is considering trialling a night market in the Parramatta CBD and is interested to hear what you think.

Head to Council’s engagement portal to tell us what kind of market you would be interested in, and when and where it should be held. To thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, you can also go in the draw to win one of five $50 vouchers.

The information summary and survey are both available in Arabic, English, Hindi, Korean and Simplified Chinese via the engagement portal.

Submissions close 9am, Monday 23 September 2019.

Have your say on travel improvements in Carlingford and Epping

Do you live in Carlingford or Epping?

If you live in the highlighted area below and are over 18, we want to hear from you. For a larger version of the map, go to the Engagement Portal.

Project area map in Carlingford and Epping (Bound by Carlingford Rd, Midson Rd, Marsden Rd, Pennant Hills Rd, Jenkins Rd, Moseley St)

Whether you ride a bike, walk to the station or make school drop-offs by car, your feedback will help shape future improvements to travel options in the area.

Council has partnered with NSW Health to create a short 10-minute survey for residents to complete. We’re looking to better understand how people in the area currently travel around their neighbourhood. We will be doing another study in 12 months to see if your travel activities have changed.
